    Another ex-ISP box that shows up a lot. Works, as long as yours exposes a VLAN option.

    Before you start

    • Check first: open your WAN settings and look for a VLAN option you can turn on. If there isn't one, this router can't do what Um needs and you'll want a different one.

    Router settings live at

    • 192.168.1.1
    • 192.168.0.1

    Sign-ins to try

      admin / admin, or whatever's printed on the sticker underneath

      Plug it into your ONT

      Ethernet from the router's WAN port to the ONT port we've set you up on. Power on, then join its WiFi.

      Open the router's settings

      Browse to 192.168.1.1 (or 192.168.0.1) and sign in.

      Add a new internet connection

      Advanced Settings > WAN Services (it might just say Internet), then Add or New Connection

      Turn on VLAN tagging

      Often a separate tab called 802.1Q or VLAN Settings

      Save and check

      Hit Apply. The router may restart. Once it's back, load a website. Still nothing? Power-cycle the ONT and router together for 30 seconds.

    Um runs on VLAN 10 with DHCP. There's no username or password to enter anywhere. If your router isn't listed here, the settings on the main setup guide are all you need.
